Immediate implants and immediate loading are different decisions
“Immediate” needs a second word. Immediate placement describes when an implant is inserted after a tooth is removed. Immediate loading describes when a connected restoration is put into function. An advertisement that says only “same day” does not identify which event it means.
The International Team for Implantology separates placement and loading in its consensus terminology. Its loading categories use the interval between implant placement and connection to a functioning prosthesis: immediate within one week, early between one week and two months, and conventional after more than two months. Three entries clarify a same-day offer
Write down the planned extraction date, implant placement date and date when a restoration will be used. Add whether that restoration is temporary or final. With these entries, two offers using identical advertising language can be compared without assuming they describe the same course of treatment.

Consider a purely illustrative itinerary: a patient receives a temporary restoration at the surgical visit and returns for later checks and a final restoration. Calling the first visit “same-day teeth” would not describe the entire itinerary. This example is a way to read a schedule, not a proposed treatment for an individual.
Healing remains a separate issue. The FDA states that implant-body healing can take several months or longer and that overall health and smoking affect the discussion. A short fabrication time does not establish a short biological healing time. FDA: Dental implants.
